At Smoky Cape Lighthouse Cottages we look forward to welcoming you.
By making a booking you are entering into an agreement with us.
Please read our terms and conditions of booking below

Rates are quoted per room, per night, including breakfast.
Maximum of 2 adult guests per room
*We are unable to accommodate minors in the B&B.

Rates are quoted per Cottage ~ maximum of 8 guests

We are well suited to accommodate children in the self contained Cottages 1 & 2 
*We are unable to accommodate minors in Cottage 3 the B&B.

We require a 50% deposit at time of bookin via  Square* with Credit Card. The remaining balance is  due 14 days before the date of your stay or it may be subject to cancellation. We will issue a Square invoice upon booking confirmation with the final balance & due date.
If booking is made within the 14 days of arrival date the remaining payment is due upon booking*

Alternatively, by prior arrangement, the balance of tariff may be  deposited via direct credit bank transfer. Please call us if you wish to arrange this.

Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is received.

Online bookings can be placed up to 12 months in advance
At the end of each month the corresponding month of the following year will become available.
For example: Bookings for February 2022 will be available online as of the 1/3/2021 

All cancellations will incur an administration fee of 25% of  the deposit paid.
This will be deducted from refunds prior to a return payment to the card which was used to make the booking.

Within 14 days of the arrival date the balance will be payable
Your booking will be subject to Cancellation if Final Payment Invoice is not settled by due date

Coupons are designed for a one time use and valid for 12 months unless otherwise specified
Please retain your coupon as proof of issue
Coupons are not redeemable for cash refund
Any unused portion of coupon will result in a further coupon being issued
Covid-19 ~ Restrictions lifted 1/6/2020

*In this instance we will refund 75% of deposit

In regards to lockdown areas - We advise all guests to wait until the restrictions are lifted before booking  online

Your accommodation will be available after 3pm on the day of arrival  
If you will arrive after 4pm please contact us in advance to arrange an arrival time
We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time 
Please call John on 0432 067 441 , he will meet you at the locked access gate to the Lighthouse precinct. From there he will guide you to our on site parking and help you to transport your luggage to the accommodation.
*Guest vehicles are not permitted, at anytime, to drive up  to the cottages.

Please vacate your accommodation by 10.00 am on the day of departure
Prior to departure at 10 am,  furniture is to be put back to their original position; used dishes are to be washed, dried and packed away.
Please wipe down the kitchen & BBQ  with cleaning products supplied. 
Please return keys to the 'lock box' .
We reserve the right to charge a $40 per hour excess cleaning fee if the cottage requires extra time to clean.
Upon departure, a staff member will assist with the transportation of luggage to your vehicle.
*Guest vehicles are not permitted to drive up to the cottages at anytime. 

MAY & NOVEMBER are allocated for Weddings
*Please contact us well in advance to secure your preferred dates. 

We have a Max. Limit of 50 people on site and prior approval is required from National Parks.
We require the majority of guests be taxied in as parking on the grounds is limited & we share the public car park with day visitors to the National Parks.

We require that all accommodation be booked out for a minimum of 3 days around Weddings
~ ie. the day before, day of the event & day after.
We can accommodate a maximum of 22 guests in the 3 cottages & rates vary depending on the seasons & holidays.

We require a Venue Hire, Bond Fee & an Agreement is to be signed upon Reservation.

The Bond is in place to protect the venue, its contents & the Heritage status of this site & will be returned 48 hours after the building & contents have been cleaned & inspected.
Clients are liable for any damage, breakages or excess cleaning required.

*Rates Quoted are correct only for the specific number of nights, guests and dates agreed upon. *Rates may be subject to change if client makes changes to Agreement

* We do not operate as a venue for weddings during the NSW Easter & Christmas School Holidays.

We do not operate as a venue for Party Hire

We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately, without being liable for any refund or compensation, if guests engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests or  inflict damage to our property or the National Park and its protected flora & fauna

We are unable to accommodate pets as we are situated within a National Park. Service dogs are permitted if certified accreditation documents are provided

We are a non-smoking establishment. We reserve the right to charge an extra night’s stay if the room has to be specially cleaned and aired before it is suitable for use by another guest.
Smoking is prohibited within the National Park (including this facility) Fines apply $300

Failure to comply will result in liability and cancellation of your accommodation without refund or compensation.  Please be considerate of your environment, its wildlife & other guests.

Please take care when staying in our property.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. 
All we ask is
that you report any incidents as they occur.  We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you do not report this. Due to our changeable coastal conditions, we ask that our guests respect the cottages indoor furniture, fittings and soft furnishings, by not using them outdoors. Items for outdoor use are provided. Sudden weather changes could result in damaging property if left outside unsupervised or overnight.

We ask that guests take special care of door keys during their stay. If keys are lost or not returned at the end of your stay, it will be necessary to change locks and replace keys and the cost of this will be chargeable.
Please return keys to the 'lock box' upon departure.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
